Therapy made a profound difference
in my own life.

In my 20s, a struggling single mom, I suffered from depression
and anxiety. I had always thought of therapy as a luxury for
neurotics in Manhattan – and I wanted it. ;)

My first therapist helped
me navigate a way forward.

Not only out of challenging circumstances, but out of behavioral, thought, and psychological patterns that were hindering my path."

As an undergraduate, I studied writing as a way to explore the human condition. Later, to further that calling, I gravitated toward the study of psychology.
Beyond my graduate education in psychology, I am continually exploring further education in mental health modalities, practices and approaches – as an extension of my own curiosity and for the benefit of my clients.
